If you enjoy the idea of a camping getaway in the great outdoors in rural Somerset but are put off by having to pack up a load of equipment, erect a tent and set up camp, we can offer you a ready-made, comfortable camping experience at The Den & Orchard.

Our rustic retreat is a regular, well-appointed and highly rated Somerset campsite situated just outside the stunning historic town of Frome, and on the doorstep of the Longleat Safari Park. Besides our camping pitches, we also offer camping accommodation in a cosy shepherd’s hut, dubbed the Crabby Apple, and two timber lodges – Apple Blossom lodge and Cherry Blossom lodge.

The compact and cleverly designed interior of the shepherd’s hut is set up to sleep three, while the lodges provide beds for a maximum of five.

The surroundings are spacious and well-kept, dotted with fruit trees, benches and firepits, and like all our campers you have the use of a pristine washing-up facility, clubhouse, games room, take-away outlet as well as a conveniently located toilet and shower block.
